Recently, I caught myself wallowing in scarcity and negativity. The reason is because I’m currently facing a huge serious challenge in one of my businesses, and I’m being eaten by too much worry and anxiety. Add to that the fact that I wasn’t doing my daily manifesting exercises, and I’ve isolated myself from the outside world for too long!
And right now, my energy is flowing towards scarcity, worry and anxiety. All I could think about was pure negativity. I just received my Australia visa grant today and I should have something big to celebrate, but I still feel bad and can’t seem to be happy about it.
This is quite normal, though. No matter how hard we try to be in a state of abundance, there will always be chances where we could end up drowning ourselves in the space of scarcity thinking (especially if your reality is showing you so much proof that you really are), and of course, who wants to stay in that state? We don’t wanna be attracting more of lack, right?
Luckily, when this happens, I always run to my ultimate fix: I will counter these types of thoughts with the magic of GRATITUDE.
And to fill my vibe with gratitude, I always write/review these 4 lists:
Daily Abundance List
Abundance list is all the things that I’ve received that certain day. It’s the food I ate that day, maybe a gift, money that I received that day, and anything else, and I’d feel so grateful about them.
A lot of us often think that we don’t have enough because we’re too focused with things that we don’t have, when in reality, we are more than blessed. This list will make you realize of all the things that’s flowing to your life right now that you might be taking for granted of.
Gratitude list is anything that I’m thankful for that day. They could be the blessing of another day, the sun, moon and stars, the air that I breathe, the food that I ate, my beautiful house, the gadgets that I have, the love of the people around me, anything in the list of my abundance list (feel free to repeat the list to feel the gratitude more), and many many more.
Progress list is a list of the progress of any of my goals for the day. Often, we think that nothing is manifesting and improving in our lives, when in fact, we are always moving forward, but we can’t see it because sometimes the flow is slow. We are always focused on the end result, but not the daily progress.
Progress list helped me big time in seeing that everyday, something is getting better, and that puts me in a better perspective about what’s truly happening in my life. This keeps me motivated because I am seeing that something is changing, and that puts me in a grateful state.
Wealth List is my pre-written list of things of anything that I have in my life right now. It’s all the blessings that already exists in my life. It’s our house, our monthly income, our savings, our gadgets, our motorcycle, and everything else that we have. I review this list to remind myself that we are indeed very blessed!
Simply doing the act of writing these things will shift your energy immediately. You can write these things on your phone, but personally, I write these things on paper because I believe that anything that you put in the real world (with a pen and paper) will flow better. And I’d love my gratitude to keep flowing in the real world!
